Epson stylus 880 photo printer

Hi,
Yes I am new to this forum and to screen printing. I am using fast positive clear film and printing with an epson stylus 880 printer.
The highest setting I can use is 2880 dpi. Is that high enough or do I need a higher dpi. I am also interested in knowing if I can just set my printer up with fast ink? Will my print heads work with that ink? I was going to buy a converter kit with the lines to run bottles of ink.
Any info would really be appreciated.
