Silk screen stretching jig

Does anybody have any idea how to built a silk screen stretching jig? Please, let me know!!!!

Buy one over sized roller frame and stretch mesh on it then glue it to the wooden frame, dry it and cut it from the frame.

thats a pretty good idea.... dont you waste a lot of mesh that way?

Doesn't waste too much if your retensionable screen isn't too much larger than your fixed screen. I used to do it until I just bit the bullet and bought all retensionables for my clamshells.

Yeah I am so lazy. I just order from Mel-Ray all stretched and ready to go.
They are pretty good about standing behind their products.
I still have screens I bought in 04 that have never been re-stretched but print like a charm even after a few hundred jobs
